EPH also has a prevention program designed to help families at risk of losing their housing in the community remain in their homes - stopping homelessness before it begins. This program works with families and their landlords to navigate the issues putting them at risk of eviction. When appropriate, EPH provides financial assistance, budget counseling, and ongoing case management support to help the family get back on track and develop a plan for long-term stability. 

Through this program, EPH helps families with children avoid experiencing eviction and the trauma associated with 

homelessness.
