Long Term Supportive Housing

Guiding Families on their Path to Self-Sufficiency

Our long-term supportive housing program is a program in which families rent a single-family house from EPH. They are responsible for paying rent and utilities, and each family continues to participate in case management focused on goals related to self-sufficiency. Families may qualify for this program if they are ready to move on from our transitional housing program, including having saved a security deposit and being in a financial position to be able to afford rent and utilities, but are still unable to secure housing on their own. Families can also be referred to this program from other professionals they may be working with in the area, including a shelter case manager or other social worker. This program provides families with the opportunity to build a positive rental history, which will often open the door for them to rent from traditional landlords. Families also have the option of purchasing the home from EPH if they choose and have the ability to get approved for a mortgage. Families can stay in this program for up to approximately three years.

EPH has 16 houses dedicated to this program. All houses in this program are known as “David Homes”.
