The EPH Homes

An estimated 60% of the homeless in Green Bay are families with children.  Few local facilities can accommodate the unique needs of sheltering families, so they remain underserved.

Imagine what that means to a family, to a child, to have no place to call home.  To have no feelings of security, no means of stability and no sense of real belonging.

Currently, EPH owns or leases twenty transitional living "homes," which consist of 9 duplexes and 2 single family units.  A Building Maintenance Committee shepherds the care and maintenance of the homes, and a House Coordinators' Committee assumes the responsibility for furnishing and cleaning, as well as providing start-up household items and hot meals to welcome tenants.
